At North Brooklyn Therapy, you can expect to engage in an initial intake session with your child and your child’s therapist. During this session, your therapist will ask your child questions to try and get a feel for what troubles he or she may be experiencing. After the initial session, your child or teen will likely continue to meet with their therapist once or twice a week. During these next visits your child and their therapist might:

  • Talk – a healthy way to express feelings.
